Feature Overview
The ZenAI NLP Search feature aims to enhance user experience by allowing intuitive, natural language-based searches for entities (e.g., candidates, employees) within Zenople. It provides a streamlined interface to input queries, view recent searches, and display comprehensive results with relevant details, improving efficiency and accessibility.
NLP Search Type
There are two types of searches: Standard Search and Semantic Search. The semantic search type consumes significantly more resource compared to the standard search. To enable semantic search, navigate to “EnableSemanticSearch” option property in person level and enable for selective users.
How to use
Step 1: Navigate to Global search menu available from the search bar at the top of UI.
You will be prompted with the search UI.
Alternately, the NLP search can also be accessed from candidate search from Candidate navigation in Temp Job detail and in search ana match tab in Assign navigation of Schedule Job detail.
Step 2: From the search type dropdown available at the top, select “ZenAI NLP Search”.
On selecting ZenAI NLP Search, a new card will appear below the search type selection with input fields to enter prompt or select from recent searches. Enter your search query in natural language or select any previous search query from recent searches and click on “Search” button.
Input fields:
- Enter Prompt: Enter your search query in natural language here. Example: Applicants previously worked as a heavy vehicle driver, candidates residing in LA, worked previously for Microsoft, etc.
- Recent Search: This field will display the list of recent searches. Select one if you want to see previous search results. The recent search will display a tabular form of previous searched prompts and search types.
Step 3: Additionally, on expanding the obtained search result by clicking on “+” icon available at the left-hand side of each result, user will see the details as well as matched criteria based on the entered query.
