Feature Overview:
The Auto Recommendation feature enhances recruitment efficiency by generating a categorized list of suitable candidates for jobs with "Auto Recommendation" enabled. The AI Candidate recommendation feature is also available in JSM candidate navigation and Talent navigation under Direct Hire Job.
To enable auto-recommendation for a job, users should enable the auto-recommendation option in the Job Add/Edit form under the automation section. The automation section is visible only if the user opts to view more inputs by clicking on the “Show More” button available on the bottom left side of the form.
The other input fields in the Automation Section include: Maximum Recommendation Count, Recommendation Score Threshold, and Maximum Recommendation Distance (In Miles).
Also, the default value of these options can be set in the “DefaultZenAIAutoRecommendation”, “CandidateRecommendationCountLimit”, “CandidateRecommendationScoreLimit”, “CandidateRecommendationDistanceLimit” option properties available in the Office level under Job option.
How to use
Step 1: Enable the “Auto recommendation” option under the Automation section in the Job Add/Edit form. The field is not visible by default. Click on the “Show More” button to view the automation section of the form.
Step 2: Navigate to the “Candidate” navigation of the Job. If there are applicants suitable to become candidates based on the job requirements and skills, the user will be prompted with a message “This Job has x candidate recommendations.” A bulb icon with the number of suggested candidates appears on the bottom-right side of the screen.
Step 3: Click on the bulb icon to view the list of suggested candidates. A sidebar with the list of candidates will appear, similar to the ZenAI NLP search result, which includes the match percentage and entity details matching criteria.
If required, users can also regenerate the recommendation using the “Regenerate Recommendation” action listed in the navigation action for candidates.
The results are categorized under the following categories:

However, Users are able to control the threshold score for recommending candidates in the ATM “CandidateRecommendationScoreLimit” option property available at the Office level under the job category. The option property accepts a numerical value for the minimum match percentage. By default, the minimum threshold is set to 40.
Users can also control the number of recommendations to receive for a single job from “CandidateRecommendationCountLimit” option property in the office level available under the job category. The default value is set to 10.
Additionally, users can also configure the maximum distance (in miles) from the job site used for candidate suggestion, comparing the candidate’s resident address and job site from “CandidateRecommendationDistanceLimit” option property available in the office level under the job category. The default value is set to 50.
Finally, users can select single/multiple probable candidate(s) and click on the “Add Candidate” button to add the entities as job candidates for the selected job.
Note: The job candidate recommendation only works for jobs with a status that implies “AppliesActive” list item property as true.
