Segregation of Reonboard and Reonboard I9 Process

Prev Next

This feature introduces a clear separation between Reonboard tasks and Reonboard I9 tasks within Zenople by Aqore.
The update ensures that task assignment follows precise rules based on:

  • Reonboard days
  • I‑9-specific Reonboard days
  • The option property selected (“Reonboard” or “Reonboard I9”)

This segregation allows organizations to control when onboarding tasks and I‑9 tasks become available, improving operational accuracy and compliance.
Users benefit through:

  • More precise workflow automation
  • Reduced manual task corrections
  • Improved compliance with I‑9 handling requirements
  • Accurate task visibility for users based on timing and status updates

Functionality

1. Feature Addition

  • Introduced logic to differentiate the tasks assigned during Reonboard Days versus Reonboard I9 Days.
  • Applies within the Employee Information System (EIS) experience of Zenople.
  • When the option property condition is met:
    • “ReonboardI9Days” → All onboarding tasks, including I9 are assigned
    • “ReonboardDays” → All onboarding tasks except I9 are assigned

2. Behavior

Scenario 1: ReonboardDays crossed, ReonboardI9Days days NOT crossed

  • Employee status is updated to Reonboard.
  • After employee login:
    • All onboarding tasks (excluding I‑9) are assigned.
    • I‑9 task is not assigned.

Scenario 2: ReonboardDays crossed AND ReonboardI9Days days crossed

  • Employee status is updated to Reonboard.
  • After employee login:
    • All onboarding tasks are assigned.
    • I‑9 task is assigned.

Scenario 3: Only ReonboardI9Ddays crossed, ReonboardDays NOT crossed

  • Employee status is not updated to Reonboard.
  • No new tasks are assigned.
  • No onboarding or I‑9 tasks are triggered.

Scenario 4: Reonboard days crossed later (Reonboard I9 days already crossed)

  • Employee status is updated to Reonboard.
  • Only the initial single task is assigned before login.
  • After employee login:
    • All onboarding tasks are assigned.
    • I‑9 task is assigned.

Additional Notes

  • Task assignment remains dependent on employee login for full task distribution.
  • This enhancement supports compliance by controlling I‑9 release timing based on configured days.
  • Recommended for clients managing staggered reonboarding and document collection processes.
