GP Calculator is used for checking how much gross profit a company will make and to know the other factors which affect the gross profit.

GP calculator can be accessed from the ETC of every application. 

Clicking on the icon will display GP Calculator.

Users will be able to see the records as per the role and access.

Burden Option

Burdens are the deductions charged on every unit which affects the Bill Rate, Pay Rate, and Gross Profit. 

Total Burden includes Federal Tax Burden, Other Tax Burden (if any), SUTA Tax. Moreover, the Federal Tax burden generally includes FUTA, FICA, and Medicare taxes. 

At first, users need to choose the company and state before calculating the gross profit. As per the Company chosen the options of the states will be available. SUTA Tax Rate changes as per the state which affects the Total Burden for a unit. 

Gross Profit Calculator

Users can calculate the gross profit amount and percentage in two ways; either calculate bill rate with variable pay rate or calculate pay rate with variable bill rate. 

Calculate Bill

Users can check the Bill Rate at a given Pay Rate with a particular Gross Profit Percentage and Mark up value. They can check the Bill Rate for Regular Time, Over Time, and also run a forecast to check gross profit for a particular number of people for a certain number of weeks.

For a Mark-up value of 2 and a constant Pay Rate of $10, the Bill Rate with Gross Profit Percentage and amount in case of Regular Time and Over Time will be calculated as,

Users can also calculate the Total Gross Profit Amount for a particular number of weeks when a certain number of people are at work as,

Calculate Pay

Users can check the Pay Rate at a given Bill Rate with a particular Gross Profit Percentage and Mark up value. They can check the pay rate for Regular Time, Over Time and also run a forecast to check Gross Profit for a particular number of people for a certain number of weeks.

For a Mark-up value of 3 and a constant Bill Rate of $15, the Pay Rate with Gross Profit Percentage and amount in case of Regular and Overtime will be calculated as,
