Common Features for Person Applications

The following are the Common Features for Person Applications (ATS, NHO, EIS):

Removed Expiry Date for Non-Expiring I-9 Documents

The system will automatically clear the I-9 expiry date when a non-expiring document (e.g., "State-issued DL" or "Social Security Card (unrestricted)") is selected from Lists A, B, or C. This functionality applies to both Supplement B and Standalone Supplement B. If the first assigned I-9 includes any non-expiring documents, the I-9 expiry date will be cleared. Additionally, the system will always validate and apply this logic to the latest I-9 document to ensure compliance and eliminate unnecessary exceptions related to document expiration.

Tracking the Expiry Date for the Receipts

The system will track the expiry date for I-9 receipts to streamline the process. The I-9 Expiry Date will now include tracking for receipt expiration, ensuring better handling and compliance. This information will be added to the "Date Type" but will not be displayed in the UI.
