Features added to GP Calculator:

The following features have been added to GP Calculator. 

Office Specific GP Calculator

A new drop-down field for selecting Office is now made available in GP calculator. This addition has enhanced the GP calculator to calculate values effectively and accurately for specific office. When user selects a particular office, the “Other Burden” field is pre populated with the burden rate value set at office level which makes the gross profit calculator more intuitive and advanced.

Showing “ER rate” in case of “WA” as SUTA State

When "WA" is selected as the SUTA State, the WC Code Rate placeholder automatically updates to "ER Rate." The "ER Rate" specific to Washington State can be configured by editing the WC Code details under ATM > Back Office > WC Code. For all other states, the placeholder remains as "WC Code Rate" and displays the "Rate" value from the same ATM configuration. However, for Washington State, it dynamically displays the "ER Rate" for more accurate calculations. This enhancement enhances compliance and accuracy in managing workers' compensation rates for WA, making regulatory management more efficient and reliable.

Improvement for calculating Pay rates and Bill rates

To make calculating gross profit more easier and user friendly, the pay rate and bill rate fields are disabled conditionally.

If the user intends to calculate bill (By selecting “Calculate Bill” radio button), RT Bill rate and OT Bill Rate fields are prevented from entering values manually.

Similarly, If the user intends to calculate pay (By selecting “Calculate Pay” radio button), RT Pay Rate and OT Pay Rate fields are prevented from entering values manually.

Limiting GP percentage to two-digit value

This feature introduces a limit to the RT (Regular Time) and OT (Overtime) GP (Gross Profit) Percentage fields, ensuring that the values do not exceed two digits. The update affects the Gross Profit calculators in various modules and ensures consistent and accurate data entry.

The effect of this limitation is also carried to the gross profit calculator for jobs.

Additionally, if a user attempts to enter a negative value, an exception is triggered, and a toaster message displays: "Value cannot be negative."

Also, If a user tries to enter values that results GP percentage to exceed the two-digit limit, an exception is triggered, and a toaster message displays: "Error: GP percentage exceeds allowable limit."
