Added Single Sign-On (SSO) with Apple, Google and Microsoft for the IOS version of Zenople Mobile App
Users can now sign in to the IOS Version of the Zenople Mobile App using their existing Apple, Google or Microsoft account, eliminating the need to remember a separate username and password. This feature must be enabled by the organization’s administrator before it appears to users.
How to Use
Signing in with Apple, Google or Microsoft
- Open the Zenople Mobile App on your Android device.
- On the login screen, if your organization has SSO enabled, you will see sign-in buttons below the standard login form: Sign in with Apple, Sign in with Google and Sign in with Microsoft.
- Tap the button for your preferred provider.
- A sign-in prompt from Apple, Google or Microsoft will appear. Enter your account credentials and grant the requested permissions.
- Once verified, you will be signed in to the Zenople Mobile App for IOS devices automatically, no separate Zenople password is required.
Note: If no button appears on your login screen, SSO has not been enabled for your organization. Contact your administrator to request access.
Connecting or Disconnecting a Social Account (Settings)
- From the app's main menu, go to Settings.
- Tap Connect Social Account.
- The screen shows your three options: Apple, Google and Microsoft.
- If neither account is connected, both buttons are active and labelled Connect Google Account / Connect Microsoft Account/ Connect with Apple.
- If one account is already connected, the other provider's button is greyed out — only one social account can be linked at a time.
- Tap the provider you want to connect. A prompt from that provider will appear to confirm your account.
- Once confirmed, your social account is linked. Future logins using that provider will be recognized automatically.
- To disconnect, tap the same button (now labelled Disconnect Apple Account, Disconnect Google Account or Disconnect Microsoft Account). A confirmation prompt will appear before the account is unlinked.
Notes
- Only one social account (Apple, Google or Microsoft) can be linked to your Zenople profile at a time.
- SSO login with Apple, Google and Microsoft is available on Android devices. Apple ID sign-in is available for only the Web Version and the IOS Version.
- The SSO feature must be enabled at the organization level by an administrator before it is visible to users.
- If you cancel the Apple, Google or Microsoft sign-in prompt, no changes are made to your account.
- SSO users are not prompted to change their password on first login.
