2.1 Accessing DDS

DDS is accessed through the main Zenople application. From the application home screen, locate the Dynamic Dashboard item in the navigation menu. Clicking it will open DDS and display the Dashboard navigation by default.

If the DDS option does not appear in your navigation menu, contact your system administrator. Access to DDS and to individual navigations within it is controlled by user role and permission settings.

2.2 Dashboard Setup Steps

When you access the Dashboard for the first time, your widget board will be empty. You need to add widgets to begin using the dashboard. See Section 3 — Dashboard Navigation for the full step-by-step guide. At a high level, the setup sequence is:

  1. Open the Dashboard navigation.
  2. Click the Add Widget button (or the widget panel toggle icon).
  3. Select a widget template from the available list.
  4. Configure the widget with a name, chart type, and dimension.
  5. Save the widget. It will appear on your dashboard.
  6. Rearrange widgets by dragging them to the preferred position.
  7. Click the Save Changes icon to save the layout.

2.3 Role-Based Access Considerations

Certain navigations within DDS require specific permissions:

  • Finish Line is typically restricted to users with a Sales or Account Management role.
  • Productivity Board (Productivity Settings) — adding and editing productivity goals for other staff members requires a management-level access right.
  • Executive Dashboard — intended for senior leadership and may be restricted by role.
  • Insights — may be restricted to manager-level users and above.

If you can see a navigation in the menu but cannot access its content, or if you encounter an "Access Denied" message, contact your administrator to review your user permissions.
