This enhancement introduces a redesigned Email Profile interface in Zenople’s ETC > Email section, modernizing both the design and the underlying authentication framework. The update replaces legacy Basic Authentication—which is now considered outdated—with secure, OAuth-based connections for Gmail and Microsoft accounts. The new setup provides smoother integration, faster mailbox synchronization, and more transparent status indicators.
The revamp addresses the need for reliable connectivity, streamlined monitoring, and simpler email management. By introducing a secure authentication flow and real-time synchronization, Zenople ensures uninterrupted communication for transactional, automated, and operational email activities. Existing users continue to have access to legacy profiles, but OAuth is now the preferred, more efficient, and more secure method.

- Authentication:
- Basic Authentication is marked as Legacy.
- OAuth is supported for Gmail and Microsoft profiles through integration with the respective APIs.
- Profile Management UI:
- Updated layout differentiates Google and Microsoft profiles with logos (legacy profiles show only the first alphabet).

- Refresh events are logged for audit purposes.
- Blob Document Storage:
- Email attachments and “Save as Document” actions store files in Blob storage.
- Stored documents are cross-linked to their related Zenople record for traceability.
- Error Handling and Recovery:
- Any authentication or sync failure triggers a 7-day reset process to reprocess missed emails.
- Ensures consistent recovery and minimizes data gaps.
