Overview
In addition to employee pay data, California's SB 1162 requires covered employers to separately report pay data for labor contractors — workers supplied by a staffing agency or third-party contractor firm. The CA Pay Data (Contractor) report produces this separate contractor submission in the format required by the California Civil Rights Department.
The report organizes contractor data by establishment, job category, race/ethnicity/sex, pay band, exemption status, and employment type, and includes contractor-specific fields such as the labor contractor's name, FEIN, and snapshot period dates that are not required on the employee report.
Who This Applies To
Organizations that use labor contractors (staffing agency or third-party contractor workers) at California locations and are subject to CA SB 1162 reporting requirements.
