Accounting Period

Overview

'Accounting Period' allows users to view all the accounting periods with status such as ‘Open,’ ‘To Be Open,’ ‘Closed’. These are the accounting period that gets reflected in ‘TMS,’ ‘PAS,’ ‘IMS,’ ‘ARS,’ and ‘APS’.

Users can select the year and status from the dropdown to view the accounting periods based on the selection and also can search the accounting period from the search box.

Favorite Action

There is a single action under the favorite icon of the ‘Accounting Period’ directory, ie 'Refresh.'

Refresh

It allows users to refresh the accounting details in case of any changes not reflecting.

Users may expand or collapse details of the accounting period to view the exceptions and approval status in the selected accounting period.

The ‘Close’ action in the vertical ellipsis button allows users to close the accounting period. After closing, this accounting period will be displayed under the closed category.

Upon closing the accounting period, a list of exceptions will be displayed if any. The accounting period with severe exceptions cannot be closed.

Similarly, for the ‘To Be Open’ accounting period, users may open it from the vertical ellipsis button.
