Employees can now view any pay stub from their pay history, even if a pay stub document has not been pre-generated for that pay record. When an employee selects a pay record that does not yet have a pay stub on file, the system automatically generates the pay stub on demand and displays it immediately. This means employees no longer need to wait for HR or payroll teams to manually produce historical pay stubs.
Functionality
Viewing a pay stub (existing or on-demand generated):
- Log in to the Employee Portal.
- Navigate to Pay History from the main menu.
- Your pay history is displayed as a list of pay records.
- Locate the pay record you want to view.
- Click the View button on the pay record.
- If a pay stub already exists for that record, it opens immediately. If a pay stub does not yet exist, the system generates it automatically. The pay stub will open as soon as it is ready, no additional action is required.
Notes
- Pay stubs are generated using the same earnings, deductions, tax, and net pay data as all other pay stubs — there is no difference in content between a pre-generated and an on-demand generated stub.
- Once generated, the pay stub is saved so that future views open it instantly without re-generating.
- If the system is unable to generate a pay stub (for example, due to missing payroll data), a message will appear: "We're unable to generate your pay stub right now. Please contact your HR/payroll representative."
