This feature introduces an email confirmation prompt when performing Mass Task Actions in Zenople. The prompt allows users to decide whether email notifications should be sent to task assignees, giving full control over communication and preventing unnecessary or duplicate emails.
Functionality
1. Feature Addition
- A confirmation modal appears when initiating a Mass Task Action.
- The modal asks:
“Would you like to send an email notification to the assignees?”- Options:
- Yes
- No (default or selectable)
- Options:
2. Behavior
- If Yes is selected:
- The system sends a standard task assignment email to each assignee.
- Email includes:
- Task Title
- Due Date
- Description
- Link to Task
- If No is selected:
- Tasks are created and assigned without sending any email notifications.
Additional Notes
- This feature is limited to Mass Task functionality only.
- Email templates remain unchanged; only the confirmation step is added.
