Assignment Status Verification During Rehire Process

This enhancement introduces assignment status verification during the rehire process, aligning it with the logic used in the hiring process in the EIS Rehire stage. By mirroring the hire process rules, this update helps maintain consistency and compliance, ensuring that assignment statuses are appropriately validated before completing rehire actions.

1. Assignment Status Check in Rehire Process
   1. The system now performs an assignment status check when an employee is rehired, applying the same logic and criteria as in the initial hire process. This check helps verify that assignment prerequisites and statuses align with current policy standards.
2. Consistency with Hire Process
   1. By matching the validation logic used during new hires, this update ensures that the rehire process adheres to the same assignment rules, creating a streamlined, unified approach across hiring and rehiring tasks.

Implementation Notes

• Assignment Validation: The system will check the assignment status of employees in the rehire flow, as it currently does in the hiring process, ensuring rehire eligibility.
