Zenople now allows users to configure Resume Source options and helps office staff accurately track how candidate resumes were obtained and added into the system. Additionally, the existing "Data Source" field has been renamed to "Source" across the system.
What's New
Configurable Resume Sources
Users can now manage Resume Source options from the Data Source Type list item category in ATM List Items.
Each source can be configured and controlled using the Available In list item property:
Available In Value | Effect |
|---|---|
Manual Source | Displays the item in the Resume Source dropdown during manual person entry |
Resume Import Source | Displays the item in the Resume Source dropdown during Resume Import |
Both selected | Displays the item in both contexts |
None | Hides the item from both dropdowns |
Manual Person Entry
- When adding a person without uploading a resume, the Source is automatically set to "Manual" and Resume Source dropdown field is not displayed.
- When uploading a resume during person creation from the Office Staff Portal, the Resume Source dropdown filed is displayed and selecting a Resume Source is mandatory
- Only sources configured with Available In = Manual Source will be displayed
Resume Import
- Resume Source selection is now mandatory during Resume Import
- Only sources configured with Available In = Resume Import Source will be displayed
Source Visibility
Once a person is added or a resume is imported, the selected Source value is displayed in:
- Person Directory → Source column
- Person → Additional Information → Source field
Impact
This enhancement improves resume source tracking accuracy and gives users greater control over the available source options across different entry points.
