Insights Navigation

Prev Next

6.1 Purpose

The Insights navigation provides a multi-tab analytical view of the business, covering financial performance, workforce data, accounts receivable, sales activity, and more. Unlike the configurable Dashboard widgets, the Insights tabs are pre-built analytical views that present structured data without requiring any user configuration.

Insights is designed for managers and decision-makers who need a broad operational overview without navigating through individual records or running separate reports.

6.2 Available Tabs

Insights is organised across eight tabs. Each tab focuses on a specific area of the business:

Tab

What It Shows

Finance

Financial performance metrics including payroll costs, billing totals, and gross margin summaries for the selected date range.

Workforce

Headcount and workforce composition data — active employees, placements, and workforce distribution.

Jobs & Assignments

Activity across job orders and assignments — open jobs, filled positions, assignment starts and ends, and job order ageing.

Recruiting

Recruiting pipeline metrics — applicant counts, candidate submissions, time-to-fill, and placement conversion rates.

Trends

Historical trend analysis showing how key metrics (payroll, revenue, headcount) have changed over time.

AR

Accounts receivable status — outstanding balances, ageing brackets, and collection activity.

Sales & CRM

Sales activity and client relationship metrics — opportunities in pipeline, stage progression, and connect activity.

Productivity

Productivity goal summary across the organisation — overall achievement rates, top performers, and goal completion trends.

6.3 Date Range Selection

All tabs in the Insights navigation include a date range selector at the top of the view. The date range applies to all metrics displayed on the currently active tab. Changing the date range recalculates all figures for the new period.

Standard preset ranges (such as Current Month, Last Quarter, Year to Date) are typically available alongside a custom date range option. Always confirm the selected date range is correct before drawing conclusions from Insights data.
