Article summary

The following features have been added to RMS:

Rename the "Submitted By" Column to "Approved By" in the Daily Time Report

This enhancement updates the Daily Time Report by renaming the “Submitted By” column to “Approved By.” This change improves data clarity, making it easier for users to understand that the column reflects who approved each entry rather than who submitted it. By aligning the column name with its function, the report becomes more relevant and useful for users extracting and reviewing time entry data.

Added "Show Time Log" Parameter to the Transaction Batch Report

This enhancement introduces the Show Time Log parameter in the Transaction Batch Report, allowing users to choose whether to include a detailed audit log of time entry changes. When the parameter is set to True, the report will display an in-depth audit log, grouped by Customer > Job > Assignment, that tracks any changes made to time entries. This option enhances the report’s flexibility by providing improved visibility into time entry adjustments and helping users easily track and verify any modifications. The default setting for this parameter is False, meaning the time log will only be displayed when selected, ensuring that users can retrieve the information most relevant to their needs without added complexity.

Add Date Type Parameter to Task List Report

This enhancement adds a Date Type parameter to the Task List Report, giving users the flexibility to select specific date criteria when generating the report. With this parameter, users can choose from various date types as Insert Date, Start Date, Due Date, or Completion Date to retrieve task information that aligns precisely with their needs. For example, selecting Due Date will generate a report based on task deadlines, while choosing Completion Date will provide a list of completed tasks. This parameter is required, ensuring that users specify the exact date focus for each report generation, making it easier to track task progress and meet deadlines effectively. The default setting is N/A, with no option for multi-selection, providing a streamlined and straightforward report configuration experience.

Paginated Payroll Register Report Summary with Company/Office Parameter

The Payroll Register report is enhanced to include a new summary section with a parameter that allows users to select either "Company" or "Office" while generating the report. This enhancement will provide users the flexibility to choose whether to include office totals in the report, streamlining payroll data analysis.
