Employee Information System (EIS)

The following features have been added to EIS:

Employees who have W4 Exempt status on the previous year but have not filled in the form this year will be Assigned the New Task.

In the latest update, a new feature has been implemented to streamline task management. Employees who held a W4 Exempt status in the previous year and have yet to complete the task form for the current year will now be automatically assigned a new task. This enhancement ensures that all employees stay up to date with their required tasks for the current year, promoting a more organized and compliant workflow.

Reset and Archiving of Tax Configuration if the Employee has not completed the New Year's w4 tasks automatically assigned to them.

On February 16th of each year, a systematic process is initiated to manage employee tax-related tasks (W-4, State W-4). If employees assigned New Year's tasks have not completed them by this date, their Tax Setup from the Previous Year will be reset. This includes removing their Tax-Exempt status and resetting their Marital Status to Single.

Additionally, any documents and tasks associated with the Tax from the Previous Year will be archived. This proactive measure ensures the accuracy of employee tax information and promotes compliance with updated details.

Improved the “Tax Exempt” tile in EIS by checking if the employee has updated their information or not in the Current year.

Previously, the "Tax Exempt" tile only included employees who were exempt from Federal Income Tax (FIT) and State Income Tax (SIT) in the previous year.

The tile has now been improved to be more detail-oriented. It now identifies employees who claimed exemption until the previous year but have yet to update their information for the current year. This enhanced functionality allows users to efficiently monitor and address the compliance status of the relevant employees through the tiles.

Added a new Tile “DD Info Missing” at EIS.

A recent enhancement in the EIS introduces a new tile named "DD Info Missing." This tile serves the purpose of filtering employees who possess a Payroll on the Current Accounting Period (AP) but lack an active bank account setup. With this addition, users can conveniently identify and manage individuals without designated bank information, promoting a more streamlined and efficient payroll management process. The "DD Info Missing" tile thus provides a quick and accessible means for users to address any gaps in bank account setup for relevant employees.

Added a new Tile “6-month Unpaid, Unassigned Employee” in EIS.

The recent update to the EIS introduces a valuable addition, the "6 Months Unpaid, Unassigned Employee" tile. This tile serves by filtering out the employees who have not received payment in the last six months and do not currently have any active assignments. By implementing this tile, users can efficiently identify and manage individuals facing both payment and assignment-related gaps, allowing for targeted and timely resolution of any issues.
