Document Viewer Update

Zenople has introduced a browser-based Document Viewer across all applications, modules, and portals. This update enhances security, control, and user experience by eliminating dependency on external viewers and ensuring consistent document handling within the platform.

Functionality

1. Feature Addition
   1. The browser-based viewer is now available across all Zenople applications, modules, and portals for every user role.
   2. Supports all document types currently stored and used in Zenople.
2. Behavior
   1. Documents are fully loaded before viewing begins.
   2. Download and print options are available, subject to browser capabilities.
   3. If a document exceeds 5 MB, the system restricts in-browser viewing and prompts the user to download the file.
   4. If the browser cannot render a document type, the system provides a download option.
3. Directly Viewable in Browser:

• PDF
• Images 
• Text Files
• Audio/Video Files 

1. Requires Download (Not Browser-Supported):

• Office Modern Formats (.docx, .xlsx, .pptx)
• Office Legacy Formats (.doc, .xls, .ppt)
• Archives (.zip, .rar)
• Design/CAD Files
• Binary/Executable Files
• OpenDocument Formats (not natively supported)

1. Other Limitations:

• Non-browser-supported formats must be downloaded.
• 5 MB size limitation for in-browser viewing.
