Finish Line can now use selected comment types to determine the First Connect Date and Last Connect Date which can be set up from list item “Comment Type”. In the comment type list item a new list item property “Count as” is added with values “Comment” and “Sales Connect”. This gives teams better control over which contact activities count toward connect-date tracking and keeps follow-up reporting more meaningful.
How to Use
- Make sure the relevant comment types are configured to count as qualifying contact activity. -> Only the enabled comment types
“Count as: Sales Connect” will update connect-date tracking in Finish Line which can be set up - Log a comment against the related customer or person record using one of those enabled comment types. -> The activity is treated as a valid connect event.
- Open DDS > Insights > Finish Line and review the record. -> First Connect Date reflects the earliest qualifying comment, and Last Connect Date reflects the most recent qualifying comment.
- Continue logging follow-up activity with the correct comment types. -> Finish Line keeps the connect dates current as new qualifying comments are added.
