# Zenbassador Referral Date in Person Record

A new **Zenbassador Referral Date** field has been added to the **Hiring Info > Date Type** section of the person record. This read-only field captures the exact date a Zenbassador submitted a referral — keeping it separate from the person's registration date for more accurate tracking and reporting.

### How to Use

1. Open the person record of a referred employee, applicant, or new hire.
2. Navigate to **Hiring Info**, then select the **Date Type** sub-section.
3. Locate the **Zenbassador Referral Date** field. → The date is displayed in **MM/DD/YYYY** format and reflects when the Zenbassador originally submitted the referral.
4. The field is read-only. If you attempt to edit it, an information message will appear: *"Zenbassador Referral Date is not editable."*

### Notes

- **Referral submitted by a Zenbassador:** The date is set to the actual referral submission date. It does not change regardless of when the referred person later registers in the system.
- **Person added via the 'Add Referral' action:** The date is automatically set to the person's Entered Date (their registration date in the system).
- This field is visible on records for Applicants, New Hires, and Employees.
- The Zenbassador Referral Date is system-managed and cannot be edited manually.
