How to use Nelco from Zenople ?
The users will need to do the following for proper use of Nelco:
Nelco Acess
To access Nelco, users must log in to the platform. When a user has been granted access to Nelco, a new action titled Login to Nelco will appear in the Year-End Filing navigation of PAS. This action provides the user with a URL that directs them to the Nelco login page, allowing them to access the platform.
Nelco Post Option
There is an option to post data individually or in batches to Nelco. This is handled through an Option Property from the Option navigation in ATM. The option property "Nelco Post Option" allows users to choose whether to post all data at once or to post it in batches. By default, this setting is configured to All.
Posting Data To Nelco:
Pre-Conditions
- Office Staff must have Nelco access for the company. To post data to Nelco, office staff members must have the Allow Nelco Access permission through the Option Property.
- The year-end filing product (e.g., W2, W2C, 1099NEC) must be specified during the setup process.
Post to Nelco Action
The Post to Nelco inline action in the Year End Filing navigation of PAS will only be available in the case that the above conditions are met. Through this action, users are able to Post data to Nelco's tax filing.
Confirmation Dialog
Before posting data, a confirmation dialog will appear, prompting the user to verify whether any remaining data in Nelco's dashboard needs to be pushed to the cart. If the data is not pushed, any previously synced data may be lost.
If “Yes” is selected, the syncing from Zenople to Nelco will be started. The data will be sent based on the value selected in the "Nelco Post Option" option property.
The defined data will synchronize with Nelco as required from the specified Year-End Batch. When any option other than All is selected in the NelcoPostOption property, the data is synced in smaller, predefined batches. Any remaining data will be highlighted, and the process will continue until all data is synced.
If a specific paging option is chosen for a particular company, the data will be posted in batches, and the user will be alerted about the remaining data that still needs to be synced.
Important Notes:
- After syncing, push the data to the cart in the Nelco dashboard.
- A link to the Nelco dashboard is provided in the dialog, and the dialog cannot be closed until the link is clicked.
Post-Condition
Once all data for a year-end batch is synced, the "Post to Nelco" action will no longer be available.
