Job Schedule Management

The following features have been added to Job Schedule Management (JSM):

Manage Assignment Column in Week View

The Manage Assignment action is now available in the Week View of the Card View within the Job Schedule Management (JSM) directory, expanding on its previous availability in the Day View. This enhancement allows users to see and interact with the Manage Assignment icon on Job Schedule cards within a Job card in the Week View. By selecting this icon, users are directed to the Assign navigation in the JSM detail page, providing quick and seamless access to assignment management for the chosen Job Schedule.

Warning Exception for Full Day Shifts

With the new ability to add Job Schedules without a specific shift, a default Full Day Shift (12:00 AM to 11:59 PM) is automatically assigned when saving Job Schedules in the Schedule navigation of Job Schedule Management (JSM) or when adding Scheduled Jobs from CMS or JSM. To ensure users are aware of this default setting, a warning exception is triggered whenever a Full Day Shift is present, alerting users to review the shift times.

Key Details:

  • Default Full Day Shift: 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM is assigned when no shift is specified.
  • Warning Exception: Displays a message notifying users that a Full Day Shift is still active.
  • Configurable Setting: This exception is not enforced at the system level; users have the flexibility to enable or disable it through the Exceptions navigation in ATM as per their operational needs.

This enhancement aims to provide greater visibility on shift details while allowing customizable exceptions based on company preferences.

New Columns Added to Schedule Level in JSM Grid View

The following columns have been introduced to the Grid View at the schedule level in Job Schedule Management (JSM), enhancing visibility of assignment metrics and schedule details:

  • Required: Displays the total count of people required for the schedule.
  • Original Required: Shows the initial count of people originally needed before any adjustments.
  • Assigned: Indicates the total count of people currently assigned.
  • Left to Fill: Reflects the count of remaining people needed to meet the required count.
  • Schedule Date: The specific date for which the schedule is set.
  • Start Time and End Time: The schedule's designated start and end times.
  • Candidate Count: Shows the total count of job candidates associated with the schedule.

These additions allow users to easily monitor and manage staffing requirements directly from the schedule level in the Grid View.

Person Status Columns in Assign Navigation

The Person Status column has been added to the following tabs within the Assign navigation on the Scheduled Job detail page:

  • Worked Before
  • Job Candidate
  • Shortlist

This enhancement allows users to easily view and identify the current status of a person (e.g., Active, Idle, Working, etc.) directly within these tabs. It improves efficiency by providing relevant status details for informed decision-making during assignments.

Enhanced "Assigned At" Information in Employee Entity Detail section

The "Assigned At" section in the Employee Entity detail view has been enhanced to include information related to Scheduled Jobs. Previously, this section only displayed assignment details tied to Temp Jobs, specifically showing the Customer associated with the defined Temp Job.

With this update, the following improvements are implemented:

  • Scheduled Job Alignment: The "Assigned At" section now reflects assignment details for Scheduled Jobs, including the associated Customer and job information.
  • Unified Display: Users can access assignment details seamlessly, regardless of whether the assignment pertains to a Temp Job or Scheduled Job.

This enhancement ensures comprehensive visibility of employee assignment history across job types, improving data consistency and accessibility.

Assignment Schedule Dispatch

The Assignment Schedule Dispatch action has been introduced in the Favorite actions list within the Assign navigation of the Job Schedule Management (JSM) application. This feature is designed to enable users to indicate when an Assignment Schedule report, commonly known as a Dispatch Sheet, Start Sheet, or Work Order, has been issued to an employee.

Feature Details

Action Location: Accessible from the Favorite actions list in the Assign navigation of JSM.

Functionality:

  • Triggers a Dispatch action on the selected Assignment Schedule, confirming the issuance of the report to the assigned employee.
  • Adds a visual indicator in the form of a checkbox within the grid view to show the status of the dispatch action.

Dispatch Checkbox in Grid:

  • A new column, Assignment Schedule Dispatch, has been added as a checkbox in the grid.
  • The checkbox is initially unchecked and becomes checked upon the completion of the dispatch action.

When the Assignment Schedule Dispatch action is initiated, a slider appears, prompting users to select a dispatch type. This slider is populated with predefined dispatch types available in Zenople:

  • Dispatch
  • Early Dispatch
  • Late Arrival

The selected type is saved to indicate the specific dispatch condition for that assignment schedule, streamlining the documentation and communication of assignment dispatch statuses.
