Adjustments During Assignment in Job Schedule Management (JSM)

The Adjustments During Assignment feature is designed to enhance the assignment creation process within the Job Schedule Management (JSM) application. This feature allows users to make real-time modifications by easily managing the required adjustments while being assigned in a Job Schedule in JSM. There are several additional features that have been added to enable this change.

Option Property: Require Adjustment During Assignment

This option property enables users to specify if the adjustment form should be displayed during assignment creation for scheduled jobs in JSM. The following are the details of this Option Property:

  • Location: ATM > Option
  • Entity: Company
  • Option: Scheduled Job
  • Option Property: Require Adjustment during Assignment
  • Option Value:
    1. Yes: Enables the adjustment form during assignment creation.
    2. No: Disables the form.
  • Default Value: No

Customer Adjustment Type: Worked Requirement

A new customer adjustment type named “Worked Requirement” will be integrated into the Customer Adjustments section to capture specific work conditions.

Rate Setup for Pay Codes

The Rate Setup functionality allows users to establish default rates for pay codes, enhancing the assignment creation process. Rate Setup within Pay Code navigation to define rates for different offices.

Pay and Bill Unit Fields in Adjustments

Editable fields for Pay Units and Bill Units is added to the adjustments section.

Users can input values in these fields, which auto-populate based on previously established rates through Rate Setup.

A checkbox is provided to set both fields to one if checked, standardizing adjustments efficiently.

Display Adjustment During Assignment Creation

When The "Require Adjustment during Assignment" option property in Company level is Set as True. And either one of following is setup:

  • Customer Adjustment with type "Worked Requirement".
  • Office level default rate setup for Pay Codes.

In such case Adjustments are displayed while creating Assignments in JSM.

  • The details entered by the user in this form are treated as Assignment Adjustments.
  • If users add multiple assignments at once, all assignments will reflect the same changes, and this will occur before any exceptions are run.
  • If no Worked Requirement or default rate is set up, the slider will show a message stating: "Rates have not been set for the Adjustment on Customer or Office level," without displaying a list.

Assignment Schedules in Employee Portal

The Assignment navigation in the Employee Portal will include Assignment Schedules to allow employees to view their current, past, and future assignments.

Details Shown on each card for Assignment Schedules

Shift Start Time and Shift End Time: The shift start and end time will be displayed in the card of Assignment Schedules.

Report Action: A Report action will be available on each assignment card, linking directly to the Assignment Schedule Report for detailed assignment information.

Past Assignments Display: Employees can view past assignments by selecting the Show Past Assignments option.

Display Order of Assignment Schedules:

  • Current Day Assignments: Display by default.
  • Future Assignments: Shown under a separate section.
  • Past Assignments: Shown when Show Past Assignments is selected.

Work Date: The start date and end date fields in the assignment are replaced by a Work Date for clarity on each assignment.
