Features Added on AMS

The features added on AMS are:

Tiles for Ended Assignments and Assignments Entered Today Added

New tiles have been added to the dashboard of the AMS application to view the count of the assignments that have ended today, this week, this month. A new tile showing the count of the assignment/s that was entered today has also been added. The count will be pulled on basis of the Data Access. 

Clicking on a tile will redirect to the respective directory page on AMS and will also display the assignment details.

Like other tiles, these tiles can also be managed from the ATM application.

End Assignment Action Added

'End Assignment' action button has been added in the Favorite Action of the Assignment main navigation.

Users can select multiple assignments and click on the ‘End Assignment’ action from the Favorite Action.

Clicking on the 'End Job Assignment' action will open a dialog box. Users can select the 'End Date,' 'Assignment End Reason,' and 'Performance' and then Save.

CopyToAssignment Property Added in User Type List Item

The ‘CopyToAssignment’ property has been added to the list items of the 'User Type' category.

When an assignment is created, the User Type whose values are set 'True' for ‘CopyToAssignment’ property will get copied from Job and Person. It can be configured from the 'List Item' under the Settings main navigation in the ATM application.

How to Use This Feature

• Set the value of ‘CopyToAssignment’ Property as ‘True’ for the List Item that needs to be copied in an assignment.
• Enter the User Role in the ‘Temp Job’ whose property was set to True.
• Create a new assignment and check the User Role menu; the user would notice that the user role has been copied from the job. Similarly, it is copied from the person's user type.

Assignment Adjustment Navigation Implemented

Users can view the ‘Assignment Adjustment’ navigation under 'Other’ navigation. This navigation allow users to add extra cost related to an assignment based on the selected Transaction Code. Users can add/ edit/ delete or refresh the added Assignment Adjustment.

Added Adjustment will be reflected in the ‘Timesheet’ of TMS. When a transaction is created users can view the added transaction code as in the image below:

Improvement: Inactivate Assignments if End Date is Less Than Today's Date

If the ‘End Date’ of an assignment is less than Today’s Date then the assignment will be inactivated now.

Previously, when an assignment ended, if its ‘End Reason’ property didn’t count as ‘Assigned’ then the status of the assignment would change to ‘Inactive,’ otherwise, the assignment remained ‘Active’ even if it has already ended.
