# Updates to I-9 Form

## I-9 Form Update Summary

The following enhancements have been implemented to improve the accuracy and usability of I-9 Form document handling:

1. The checkbox **"This document is valid for the individual's duration of status (D/S)"**is now:
  - **Hidden** for **Permanent Resident Card** documents.
  - **Displayed only** for **I-94 Documents**.
2. The **document number field** is now **optional** for the List B document type **"School ID Card"**.
3. The checkbox **"This document doesn't have an expiration date"** has been **removed** for **all List B receipt documents**.
4. Similarly, the checkbox **"This document doesn't have an expiration date"** has been **removed** for **all List C receipt documents**.

These changes align the I-9 form with regulatory requirements and enhance data entry clarity for users.
