Update on Time Clock > Admin Summary

This enhancement ensures that the Admin Summary in the Time Clock module accurately displays timecards that still require approval, even if the related assignment has already ended with a past date. This is especially important for payroll and compliance, as it ensures no pending timecards are missed due to assignment status.

Key Functionality

  1. Pending Timecard Visibility:
    • If an assignment is ended with a past date but there are still timecards from the last week (or previous open APs) that require approval, these timecards must be displayed in the Time Clock Admin Summary.
    • This ensures managers and payroll admins can review and approve timecards for employees whose assignments have recently ended.
  2. Open Accounting Periods (APs):
    • The Admin Summary should show data only for open APs.
  3. Edge Case Handling:
    • Even if the assignment end date is in the past, as long as there are unapproved timecards within the open AP date range, those timecards are shown.
