# TMS Updates to Transaction Codes fields

## Updates to the RT, OT and other Transaction Code fields

The new update introduces updates to the Transaction Code fields including for RT, OT and others. This change is specific to the Units and Clock In, Clock Out, Break Out and Break In fields.

### Key Functionality

1. **Field Accessibility**

- **Clock In, Clock Out, Break Out, and Break In fields are now disabled for all transaction codes except RT (Regular Time).**
  - Only RT transactions allow editing of these time entry fields.
  - For OT (Overtime), DT (Double Time), and other transaction codes, these fields are locked.

1. **Units Only for Non-RT Codes**

- **All transaction codes except RT are now set as "Units Only".**
  - For OT, DT, and similar codes, users can enter only units directly.
  - No detailed time entry (Clock In/Out, Breaks) is supported for these codes.

1. **Pay Unit and Bill Unit Field Behavior**

- **When the Transaction Template is not “Weekly” or not “Template based on Units Only”:**
  - The **Pay Unit** and **Bill Units** fields are disabled (not editable).
  - This ensures that only the correct templates allow unit entry.
