# Standarizing Colorado OT Plan

The *Colorado OT Plan* is a new standard overtime plan introduced in Zenople by Aqore to ensure full compliance with **COMPS Order #39 (7 CCR 1103-1, Rule 4)**. This plan automatically applies Colorado specific overtime rules, ensuring employees are compensated accurately and organizations remain compliant with state labor regulations.

**Why it matters**

- Colorado has unique overtime requirements that differ from the Federal Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
- This plan ensures organizations operating in Colorado meet all state-mandated thresholds.
- It reduces compliance risk and manual calculations.

### Functionality

- The plan can be accessed in:
**Customer Applications → Sales and Service → Service Profile → Over Time Plan**
- Users can select the newly added option: **“Colorado OT Plan.”**

**Overtime Rule**

The plan automatically applies overtime at **1.5× the employee’s regular rate** when any of the following thresholds are exceeded:

1. **More than 40 hours in a workweek**
(COMPS Order #39, Rule 4.1.1(A))
2. **More than 12 hours in a workday**
(COMPS Order #39, Rule 4.1.1(B))
3. **More than 12 consecutive hours**, regardless of the workday boundary
(COMPS Order #39, Rule 4.1.1(C))
