# Rehire Status Standardization

This feature introduces a standardized and automated process for updating employee status during the rehire workflow in Zenople. It ensures that whenever a rehire action is initiated, the employee’s status is consistently updated across the applicable modules, eliminating discrepancies and improving data accuracy.

**Functionality**

**1. Feature Addition**

- The enhancement applies to the **Employee Information System (EIS)** within Zenople.
- When users initiate the **Initiate** **Rehire** action, the system automatically updates the employee’s status to **Rehire**.
- Any employees on “Rehire” status will be moved to **“Rehire”** workflow stage in EIS.
- No manual intervention is required to adjust status or workflow placement
