# Referral Source and Referral Detail Enhancements in Report Builder Templates

### Overview

This feature introduces the ability to include **Referral Source** and **Referral Detail** as reportable data points within Report Builder templates.

It enables Office Staff users to analyze hiring and employment data based on referral information across the full talent lifecycle.

Key benefits include improved visibility into referral-driven outcomes, better reporting accuracy, and enhanced decision-making without impacting existing report functionality.

### Functionality

- This enhancement is available within the **Report Builder**for the following Zenople by Aqore modules:
  - Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  - New Hire Onboarding (NHO)
  - Employee Information System (EIS)
- It applies specifically to the following report templates:
  - Applicant
  - New Hire
  - Employee
- Users can:
  - Select **Referral Detail** as a column in all supported templates.
  - Apply **Referral Source** as a filter in Applicant, New Hire, and Employee reports.
  - Apply **Referral Detail** as a filter in all three report templates.
- Referral data is consistently sourced from **Interview Navigation data** across ATS, NHO, and EIS to ensure unified reporting.
- When interacting with the report:
  - If referral data exists, it is displayed in the selected columns and reflected in filtered results.
  - If referral data is not available, the fields remain blank without affecting report performance.
  - Referral Source and Referral Detail are also included in the **Report Detail Table** for supported templates.
- Existing reports remain unchanged unless users explicitly select the new columns or filters.

### Additional Notes

- This update enhances reporting capabilities without modifying existing report structures or behavior.
- The feature depends on the availability of Referral Source and Referral Detail data within Interview Navigation.
- No impact is introduced to previously generated reports that do not use these fields.
- This enhancement supports improved reporting consistency across ATS, NHO, and EIS modules.
