# Introduced Original Required Field in Job Schedules

This feature introduces the **Original Required** field to Job Schedules within Zenople. It ensures that users can view and manage the initially required number of resources for a job schedule, even when subsequent changes occur.

**Why it matters:**

- Provides clarity on the original staffing requirement for better planning and auditing.
- Enhances transparency and accuracy in job scheduling.

**Key Benefits:**

- **Efficiency:** Users can quickly identify the original requirement without confusion.
- **Accuracy:** Maintains historical reference for staffing needs.
- **Compliance:** Prevents saving invalid values (e.g., zero) for original requirements.

#### Functionality

1. **Feature Addition**
  - **Location in Zenople:**
    - **JSM > Schedule Navigation**
    - **JSM > Grid View**
    - **CMS > Job & Assignment > Schedule Job**
  - **New Element:**
    - **Original Required** field added to schedule forms.
2. **Behavior**
  - When adding an assignment schedule:
    - The **Required** value is automatically copied to **Original Required**.
  - When editing the schedule:
    - Changes to **Required** do not affect **Original Required**.
  - Validation:
    - **Original Required** cannot be zero.
    - If the user attempts to save with **Original Required = 0**, an error message displays:
*“Must be greater than 0.”*
3. **Applicability**
  - Applies to **Job Scheduling**within:
    - **JSM (Job Schedule Management)**
    - **CMS (Customer Management System)**
