# Enhancements and additions to State Filing in Zentax

On July release, the following forms have been enhanced in Zentax:

- Added SUTA Filing for Kansas State
  - The system allows Office Staff to generate a Kansas SUTA file for a selected reporting period.
  - The generated file conforms to the Kansas Department of Labor SUTA file format, including required record types, field order, field lengths, and data types as defined by KDOL.
  - Only employees and wages applicable to Kansas unemployment tax are included in the file.
  - Mandatory employer-level information required by KDOL is populated in the file.
  - Mandatory employee-level wage and tax data required by KDOL is populated in the file.
  - The system validates required fields and prevents file generation if mandatory Kansas SUTA data is missing or invalid.
  - The generated file is available in a state-accepted electronic file format suitable for submission to KDOL.
