# Employee Portal UI UX Improvement

This update enhances the Employee Portal mobile application by improving the overall user interface, visual clarity, and interaction experience. The enhancements focus on helping users more easily navigate assignments, timesheets, jobs, tasks, notifications, and messaging within the app.

### Home Page Improvements

- The full date and greeting (“Hello, <Username>”) have been repositioned to the top bar next to the user’s profile icon or removed depending on layout.
- This change increases available space and improves visual clarity.
- The “New Task for You” card now includes enhanced visibility through:
  - Stronger background contrast, or
  - A subtle border or highlight
making it more noticeable on first glance.

### **Assignments & Timesheet Experience**

- When users tap **“Time Entry”** from the **Current Assignment**, the app now automatically scrolls to **Today’s date** on the Timesheet page.
- Text contrast, font sizing, and readability have been improved across:
  - Timesheet
  - Assignment details
  - Pay History

### **Timesheet Notes & Messaging Enhancements**

- Generic messages are replaced with clear, descriptive language.
- Example:
**Old:** “Clock In time removed for 12/25/2025”
**New:** “You removed the 12:00 PM clock-in time for Mon, Dec 23, 2025.”
- This ensures accurate context and reduces user confusion.

### **Job Listing & Scheduling Improvements**

- A new optional filter **“Show Scheduled Jobs Only”** is being added for easier sorting.
- For **Scheduled Jobs**:
  - If the user taps **APPLY** without making any changes, no misleading feedback is displayed.
  - If a job is already **applied** or **assigned**, a visual **chip/tag** appears on the corresponding date/day.
  - The **APPLY** button becomes disabled or conditionally enabled when no changes are made.
- Updated behavior aligning with web version:
  - When selecting and applying schedules:
    - Selected schedules become disabled after application.
    - If multiple schedules are selected, each selected item becomes disabled.
    - If no schedules are selected, the entire job becomes disabled.
- “Job Applied” toaster messages are suppressed when no actual action was performed, reducing unnecessary notifications.
