# Employee Merge – Custom Information Integration

This feature ensures that **Custom Information** associated with employee records is included during the **Employee Merge** process in Zenople. Previously, merging employee records did not consolidate custom fields, leading to incomplete data and reporting challenges. With this enhancement, all custom data will now be merged seamlessly, improving data integrity and reporting accuracy.

**Key Benefits:**

- Maintains comprehensive employee data after merging.
- Enhances reporting capabilities by including custom fields.
- Reduces manual intervention and ensures consistency across records.

#### Functionality

- The enhancement applies to the **Employee Merge** functionality within Zenople.
- The data in Custom navigation of the Employee will now be merged into the remaining record.
- When two employee records are merged:
  - All **Custom Information** from both records will be consolidated.
  - If the same custom field has different values in the two records, the value from the **active account** will take priority.
