# Import

## Overview

Import allows users to import the employee records from an external source to Zenople. There will be multiple import plans as per the user's requirement. On the basis of the import plan, the format of the records should be maintained and are imported into the system. The import plan can be customized.

Excel (XLS) file is used as an external source.
