# E-Verify Case Closure Restriction Toaster Message

This feature ensures that Office Staff users receive a clear and informative message when Case Closure Reasons are unavailable due to the current E-Verify status. It helps users immediately understand why a case cannot be closed and prevents confusion caused by generic or severe error messages.

**Functionality**

- This feature appears within the E-Verify case management flow in Zenople, where Office Staff users attempt to close an E-Verify case.
- When an E-Verify case is in a status where closure is restricted and no Case Closure Reasons are available:
  - The Case Closure Reason dropdown does not display any selectable options.
  - The system prevents the user from completing the close action.
  - A toaster message is displayed in two different scenarios.
    - Scenario A — Closure reasons are available, but none has been selected:
      1. Open the E-Verify task and click Close Case without selecting a reason
      2. A warning message appears:
"Please select a case closure reason to close the case."
      3. Select a closure reason from the list and click Close Case again to proceed.
    - Scenario B — Case is not yet eligible for closure:
      1. Open the E-Verify task and click Close Case.
      2. A warning message appears:
"Case closure is not allowed for the current E-Verify status. The case can only be closed once it becomes eligible."
      3. No further action is needed at this time. Return to the task when the case status has updated and closure options become available.

- When an E-Verify case reaches a status where closure is allowed:
  - The Case Closure Reason dropdown displays the appropriate list of valid reasons.
  - No restricted-status toaster message is shown.
  - The user can select a valid Case Closure Reason and successfully close the case.
