# Date Filtering for Comment

Overview

- This enhancement adds consistent date filtering wherever Comment are available in Zenople.
- Users can focus on comments updated during a relevant time period instead of reviewing unrestricted Comment results.
- The enhancement improves efficiency and consistency by supporting custom date ranges and commonly used predefined periods.

Functionality

- A date filter is available in every navigation where Comment are displayed.
- Comments are filtered based on their updated date.
- Users can select predefined periods, including Last 7 Days, Last 30 Days, and Last 60 Days where the standard date-period control is available.
- Users can also select a custom date range using a start date, an end date, or both.
- Start Date and End Date are optional when using the custom date range.
- By default, the custom date range includes all comments without a date restriction.
- When only a Start Date is selected, comments from the selected date through today's date are displayed.
- When only an End Date is selected, comments from the selected date and earlier are displayed.
- When both dates are selected, comments within the selected range are displayed, including the Start Date and End Date.
- Clearing or resetting the date filter restores the default Comment navigation results without a date restriction.
- The same date-filter behavior, labels, date format, and validation rules are used consistently across applicable Comment navigations.
