# Automatically Transfer Background Checks During Employee Merge

This feature ensures that background check information is automatically preserved and transferred during the employee merge process in Zenople by Aqore. When one employee profile is merged into another profile, all valid background check data is seamlessly carried over without requiring manual effort.

This enhancement improves data accuracy, maintains compliance, and ensures operational efficiency by preventing duplicate work or loss of important background screening records.

### Functionality

- Automatically includes background check details during the employee merge process within Zenople.
- Operates in the Background Check navigation.
- Upon merging an inactive employee profile into an active profile:
  - Background check records from the inactive profile are automatically transferred to the active profile.
  - If multiple background check records exist (records in both Active and Inactive profile):
    - The system includes both records in the Active profile.
  - Background Check Reports reflect the updated, data of the active profile.
