# Add Multi‑Select Functionality to User Role Parameter in New Customer Report

This enhancement updates the **New Customer Report** in Zenople by Aqore to support **multi‑select functionality** for the **User Role** parameter. Previously, users were limited to selecting a single role when generating the report, which restricted the completeness and flexibility of the data retrieved.

With the new multiselect capability, users can now select **multiple user roles** at once, enabling more accurate and comprehensive reporting. Additionally, the system now presents **all associated roles in a comma separated format**, ensuring clarity without duplicating report data. The User Role parameter is also updated to be **nonmandatory**, giving users more freedom during report generation.

**Key Benefits**

- Improved reporting flexibility by allowing selection of multiple user roles.
- More meaningful insights by retrieving data across various roles simultaneously.
- Cleaner, non‑duplicated results through consolidated role display.
- Reduced constraints on report execution since the parameter is no longer required.

### Functionality

- This enhancement applies to the **New Customer Report** within the Zenople reporting module.
- The **User Role parameter** now supports **multi‑select**, enabling users to choose one or several roles when running the report.
- When the report is generated, instead of listing duplicate rows for each role, the system displays **all roles in a comma separated string**.
  - *Example:*
**Sales Manager – JORDAN CUMMINGS, Entered by – JORDAN CUMMINGS**
- The **User Role parameter is no longer mandatory**, allowing reports to run even when no role is selected.
- Users interact with the updated parameter via a checkbox-enabled multi‑select dropdown, improving usability and efficiency.

### Additional Notes

- This update avoids data duplication by consolidating multiple roles into a single, readable field.
- No other report parameters or existing functionality are altered.
- This enhancement is compatible with existing user role structures and does not require configuration changes.
